When you know what you want….
Building and creating something from nothing, that was Dan’s calling from an early age. After graduating from the University of Detroit and developing a successful sales career, Dan knew he wanted to return to his original passion – the construction industry. This passion quickly led to the creation of Olympic Corp. – in time, a Detroit Crain’s Top 20 General Contracting and Design Build Firm serving Metro Detroit. Successful for over two decades, Olympic Corp. was destined to be a steppingstone for Dan, as he eventually set his focus on his other lifelong goal, living and working in Northern Michigan with his wife, Pat.
Dan Steffes set out to create a new vision called Ironwood Construction over 20 years ago. With the same genuine fortitude as before, Dan led Ironwood Construction to become a successful construction organization. Fast forward 20 years, Dan and his team have built many of the beautiful buildings around the Petoskey Harbor Springs area. The most impressive accomplishment: helping homeowners and businesses to fulfill their dreams and helping a community to fulfill its potential.
